There's playful little Ponijao from Namibia, cute-as-a-button Mari from Tokyo, Bayar from Mongolia (whose playmates include cattle and goats) and blue-Links of London Power Walk CharmHattie from San Francisco, all joyfully captured in "the earliest stages of the journey of humanity that (is) at once unique and universal to us all." To which we say: "Awwww!" The movie is rated PG for cultural and maternal nudity throughout. 2. The artist's mother Mothers and motherhood have been subjects of art since the first artists chipped away at a rock sculptures and painted on cave walls. And it's impossible to think of mothers and art without thinking of Mary Cassatt (1844-1926), an American impressionist known for her tender, eloquent depictions of family life.
