"We did everything. I went into theatre, I mopped Links of London W Charm off the floor, I went into intensive care, talked to nurses, talked to some of the aides, talked to a lot of the wards people," she said. "I don't think there was any part of the hospital we didn't cover. "It was a full-on night and my feet are feeling it." She said the job had been tough but rewarding. "There's some pretty heart-wrenching cases you come across in a hospital and people are often pretty vulnerable at night time ... I feel very honoured to have shared their workplace," she said. Ms Miller said the premier had done a great job. "She can come back any time," Links of London V Charm said. The premier said she had learned a lot about running a hospital and nurses had talked to her about concerns with the payroll system. Ms Bligh's popularity has dropped to 26 per cent since the March 2009 election, which she is determined to turn around by the next election due in early 2012. The Labor leader ditched her heels and suit on Thursday night Links of London U Charm sneakers and the blue shirt and dark blue shorts worn by orderlies, as part of a plan to have all MPs walk in the shoes of an ordinary worker. Her partner on the round at Princess Alexandra Hospital was operations officer Rhonda Miller, who has worked as an orderly for 28 years.
